Oars Plus Moria - The Greatest Combination of Brains and Brawn

Luffy realizes the figure he caught was Moria's shadow rather than the Warlord himself and dashes off to find the real one. In the ongoing brawl, Zoro tries his new blade Shusui against Oars but discovers he has not yet mastered it enough to cut as he intends, dodging the giant's attempts to crush him. As Oars fights, the entire vessel that is Thriller Bark starts to lurch, since the rudder Oars broke earlier left the unanchored ship swaying.

Three zombies race to warn Moria of the shaking and reach him just as his shadow rejoins his body during a meeting with Bartholomew Kuma. Kuma offers to send him anywhere, but Moria refuses, wary of Kuma's Devil Fruit. Kuma explains that Blackbeard, fresh off fighting Ace, is being put forward as a Warlord after Crocodile's fall, and notes the World Government's interest in whether the Straw Hats could topple Moria too. Outraged, Moria throws open his curtains, and the horrified crew sees that his meeting place is inside Oars' stomach.

The episode scored 7.8 and ranked sixth that week, and marks the character debut of the Risky Brothers. Zoro tells Usopp to fetch salt to expel Luffy's shadow from Oars while they hold the giant off, and Moria moves Oars to crush Usopp before Brook saves him at the last instant, lugging a large bag of salt. A visual nod appears when Oars dubs himself the Oars Bomber and Chopper is briefly shown in his Chopper Man costume, referencing the Straw Hat Theater specials.
