Ryuboshi is an oarfish merman, the second-born prince of the royal Neptune Family that governs Fish-Man Island. Upbeat and gifted with the sword, he counts among the three mightiest fighters of the Neptune army together with his brothers.
Tall and lean as an oarfish merman, Ryuboshi rates second in height among the siblings and is marked by wide eyes, long wavy hair of dark pink, and jutting beaver-like teeth. Alone among the princes he clothes his upper half, choosing an elaborate robe with sleeves that balloon at the shoulders and wrists, and a pair of swords rests across his back beneath an orange sash. A long purple tail trails behind him, speckled with white dots and tipped by a red fin. When the family reached the Red Port for the Levely, he instead wore a light shirt.
Bright and easygoing, Ryuboshi caps off his sentences by humming snatches from a do-re-mi scale. Dancing is a shared pastime between him and Manboshi, his younger brother, a habit born from his attempts to cheer their sister and keep her tears from threatening Fish-Man Island. He can turn grave when circumstances call for it, reaching for his blade while Luffy fought the New Fish-Man Pirates in case he was needed.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
His princely rank gives him a measure of authority over the island, and beside Fukaboshi and Manboshi he is reckoned one of the Neptune army's three strongest warriors. He fights with two long rapiers whose hilts carry katana-style wrappings and large guards, their sheaths crossed at the small of his back. His mastery showed when the three brothers carved apart drug-boosted sea monsters within seconds, and overpowering him forced the New Fish-Man Pirate officers to down at least two Energy Steroids each.
In their youth Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, and Manboshi minded their little sister Shirahoshi whenever Otohime left to preach. When the World Noble Mjosgard wrecked his ship on the island and Shirahoshi's terror called out Sea Kings, the brothers soothed her after the shock felled the noble, then waited a tense week as Otohime went to the surface, rejoicing at her safe return. Charged by their mother to grow strong and guard their sister, they later faced tragedy when Otohime was shot in Gyoncorde Plaza, and Ryuboshi and Manboshi sang and danced desperately to stop the grieving Shirahoshi from crying out. During Hody Jones's takeover the princes rode to the plaza, felled his sea beasts, and charged the officers, only to be beaten once the enemy used Energy Steroids; rescued by Hoe, they recovered and shielded Shirahoshi from Vander Decken's knives before Hody drove them back. After Luffy beat Hody and the island survived, they chained the defeated foes and celebrated with the crew. Years on, at the Levely, Ryuboshi fretted over Shirahoshi's social timidity, cautioned her against speaking Luffy's name, and joined his brothers in trying to save her from Charlos, dodging a beam from Bartholomew Kuma until Mjosgard left the matter to Sai and Leo. The family then returned home with Garp.
