Explosive Stimulation! Sanji's Life Crisis!

Still scattered from their escape, Luffy, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper rest with Camie and her mermaid friends at the Mermaid Cove. The New Fish-Man Pirates trail them under orders to deliver the crew to their boss. The three Neptune princes arrive hunting illegal entrants, but Sanji suffers a near-fatal nosebleed that sends the group racing for a blood donor. After they leave, the princes admit to the mermaids that they had been trying to pass along a message from Jinbe.

Luffy explains to Camie that he wants to find Jinbe, who helped him through the loss of his brother Ace, only to learn the former Warlord had to depart the island after resigning. The Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets warn that a royal vessel is approaching, prompting the crew to hide, with Ishilly concealing Sanji against her chest. The Neptune princes, Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, and Manboshi, question the mermaids about trespassers, who deny seeing anyone. As the princes prepare to leave, Sanji's restraint shatters and he erupts in his largest nosebleed yet, exposing the crew. Chopper frantically calls for a donor of Sanji's exceedingly rare blood type, and Camie confirms that humans and fish-folk can share blood. Hammond mocks them, citing an old human-made law barring such transfusions, and demands they abandon Sanji and surrender to Hody Jones. When he fires a net, Luffy bats it aside and flattens Hammond and his cohorts, then cows a sea monster with Conqueror's Haki. Camie hijacks the royal gondola and ferries the group toward town. Back at the cove, the princes scold the mermaids and reveal they had lost their chance to relay Jinbe's message.

The adaptation shows Nami, Franky, and Robin reaching the island, with Franky rescuing Robin, plus Zoro's run-in with the Ammo Knights and Hyouzou blocking Luffy's Jet Pistol. As elsewhere in this stretch, the anime depicts Luffy activating Gear Second across his whole body rather than only an arm as in the manga.
