Sind

Gigantification trials carried out on the island blew Sind up far beyond an ordinary child's size, giving him a head that looks oversized against the rest of his frame. His messy hair, rendered blue in the manga and blond in the anime, hangs past his ears above brows of a matching tone. He initially wears a sleeveless top with shorts, until Kin'emon's power supplies the children with coats, his being pale with a dark hood and fur at the cuffs. A picture his father keeps depicts him at his original, average size from before he was seized.

When the crew first appeared, Sind was awestruck by Franky and even sang about how cool the cyborg looked, while Kin'emon's severed head left him scared. Stripped of the captivity, he is a normally shy yet hopeful boy who comforted Mocha early on with the belief that they would recover and return home soon, and who excitedly hopes to turn pirate himself once he reaches twenty. NHC10, however, makes him savage, and during withdrawal his strength swelled enough to punch Luffy clean through part of a building.

Promised that an illness would be cured, Sind was pulled away from his father and carried off to the laboratory island, remaining a prisoner there right up to the moment the Straw Hats showed up. Once liberated, he and the rest of the kids buckled under the withdrawal from NHC10, a drug they had regularly eaten in candy form, and their rampage left the pirates no option but to sedate and restrain them. The children tore free more than once, hunting down Caesar Clown for additional candy and eventually surrounding Mocha, who downed the entire batch herself to keep it away from them.

After the Marines and Chopper put the children to sleep, Sind raced out of the crumbling lab beside the Straw Hats, Law, and the G-5 Marines as the lethal Shinokuni gas seeped in, escaping safely. With Caesar in custody, Law extracted the chemicals from the children's bodies, and Sind gathered with the rest around a meal Sanji prepared. When the G-5 men tried to block the kids from the departing pirates using banners and rifles, the children refused, thanking the crew that had saved them and vowing to grow up and become pirates as well. They were afterward escorted off toward Vegapunk's treatment, and during the Egghead period Sind appeared at G-14, still taking his medicine.
