Chopper Enraged - Master's Inhumane Experiments

Trapped inside Chopper's frame, Franky struggles with its many shifting forms while the children romp through the snow. Learning that the samurai has wandered off alone to find his torso, Sanji worries and is cleared by Luffy to go searching with Brook. After Brook schemes to peek under the skirt of the body Sanji now wears, a livid Nami sends Zoro along as well, wagering that a fresh squabble with the cook will keep him too busy to misbehave with her form. The crew then talks over what comes next, Nami desperate to reverse the swaps because she loathes being stuck in Franky. Just then Chopper, having finished checking the children, watches the biggest of them, Sind, buckle in pain as the rest grab their heads.

Questioned by Chopper, Sind says the children undergo daily exams and are handed strange, tasty candy that dulls their suffering. Chopper turns furious and announces to the chained Brownbeard that the kids were never ill at all. His analysis turns up faint traces of NHC10 in every child, a powerful stimulant outlawed across the world for how readily it hooks its users, a substance he came to know while studying under Dr. Kureha. He concludes the children are dosed each day so the dependence chains them to the facility. Brownbeard cannot accept that his benefactor would do such a thing. When Luffy floats the idea of fetching candy to dull the withdrawal, Chopper forbids it, since the sweets are merely the drug's delivery.

Refused the candy, Sind flies into a rage and flings Luffy into a pillar, and the children admit none of them are real giants; each came ordinary-sized and simply kept swelling on the island. Chopper credits the surge to experiments boosting their pituitary hormone rather than any disease. Sparing them injury, Usopp deploys his new Sleeping Star to knock the children out, and the crew resolves to hunt down the Master. Within the lab, Caesar, Law, and Monet share a table; Caesar grips Smoker's heart in fine humor and reveals he has loosed a pair of killers, the Yeti Cool Brothers, on the crew. The two appear in silhouette over the snow where Zoro, Sanji, and Brook lie out cold amid massive bare footprints.
