Tsurujo, better known as O-Tsuru, is a tea house owner from Wano Country and the devoted wife of Kin'emon. Kind, refined, and skilled with herbs, she nursed the poisoned Tama back to health and quietly supported the loyalists working to topple Orochi.
O-Tsuru looks remarkably youthful for her age, with light brown eyes and black hair swept into a shimada style pinned by a golden crane-shaped ornament. A pronounced nose and painted lips mark her face. She dresses in a blue kimono patterned with pale clouds and white cranes, cinched by a large light blue obi flecked with teal polka dots. Following the destruction of Okobore Town, two burn scars mark her, one across her forehead and another on the left of her face.
Warmth and compassion define O-Tsuru. Spotting Tama gravely poisoned, she immediately offered aid, and when the child refused the meal she had prepared, she scolded her sharply, since, as Kiku noted, O-Tsuru never permits anyone to turn down her help. Her manners are exceedingly polished; she addresses people with grace and feels bound to repay every kindness. After Zoro shielded her from Kaidou's thugs she rushed to return the favor, even stowing away on Komachiyo's tail so she would not lose track of the man she meant to thank. Perceptive and courageous, she saw through Kikunojo's disguise, deduced her husband still lived, and stood ready to risk her life to protect him.
Long ago, during the Kouzuki Family's rule, O-Tsuru worked as the poster girl of a mountain-pass tea house. Forty-one years back she caught a young Kin'emon stealing her earnings and dressed him down for it. After he made off with a white boar belonging to three travelers, those men seized her as a hostage, only for the Mountain God to swallow her and two of them on the descent. Once Kouzuki Oden slew the beast at the Flower Capital, she was reunited with Kin'emon in an embrace. She eventually married him, then endured twenty years apart after Kouzuki Toki's power flung him into the future, never remarrying despite the dangers of Orochi's regime.
In the present, O-Tsuru was being hunted by Beasts Pirates in the Kuri wasteland when Roronoa Zoro rescued her. She slipped aboard Komachiyo's tail, introduced herself to Zoro and Luffy, and persuaded them to carry the dying Tama to her tea shop, where her Jagan Grass tea cured the poison. As the owner of that shop she held full authority over it, brewed medicinal remedies, cooked fine meals from scraps, and in younger days was strong enough to overpower and terrify Kin'emon. She recognized Kikunojo on sight yet kept the secret, hiring Kiku as an employee. When the Fire Festival neared, she tried to mislead Holed'em about the Paradise Farm thefts, and though Okobore Town was burned down, she survived and reunited with Kin'emon after the raid on Onigashima, later resolving to move back to the Flower Capital to live at his side.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
