Wire

Standing roughly a head and shoulders over both Kid and Killer, Wire ranks among the crew's tallest. A dark brown cloak hangs over a wire-textured shirt, paired with black shorts and black fishnet leggings, and a looped golden belt that mirrors Heat's. The crew's secondary Jolly Roger sits across his chest, while a necklace strung with tiny axe blades hangs at his throat. His eyes droop no matter what mood he is in. Once the Wano arc arrived, five spikes appeared jutting up from his hood.

Wire keeps to himself and seldom betrays what he is feeling, typically lurking in the background wearing a glum look. Even so, certain moments crack his stillness: he reacted with alarm when a Pacifista struck Kid down, and again when word reached him of the alliance between Big Mom and Kaidou. He also feels for Killer over what was done to him.

Wire grew up on Kutsukku Island in the South Blue, a place outside the World Government's reach. He, Kid, Killer, and Heat each headed a gang ruling one of the island's four towns. After a rival outfit murdered Kid's love interest Victoria, Kid merged the four groups, crushed the rivals, and launched a pirate crew aboard a ship named in her memory. Wire later surfaced at the Sabaody Archipelago alongside the other supernovas, fighting Marines and a Pacifista before slipping away. The crew watched the Marineford war by broadcast, then pushed into the New World.

During the Wano campaign, the Kid Pirates allied with the Straw Hats and Heart Pirates against the Beasts Pirates, donned Beasts disguises from Kin'emon, and raided Onigashima, where Wire and Heat heard Sanji's broadcast plea for aid. With Kaidou and Big Mom finally beaten, the crew gathered at Tokage Port and later joined the festival in the Flower Capital. In the Egghead arc, Wire watched in terror as Shanks crushed both Kid and Killer, and he begged for mercy before Dorry and Brogy's Hakoku split the Victoria Punk apart and sank the crew.
