Death to Your Partner! Killer's Deadly Gamble

Killer keeps fighting Hawkins at a steep disadvantage, since the magician's Devil Fruit shields him entirely by transferring all damage onto Kid. When Killer's crew arrives to help, he refuses to let them strike, so Hawkins instead batters his own head against the wall, channeling the punishment into Kid, who is already battered from facing Big Mom. Killer's declaration that Kid will become the Pirate King enrages Hawkins, who then beats him mercilessly.

With one strike Killer severs Hawkins' left arm, but because Kid already lost his own left arm, the redirected wound leaves Kid untouched and instead costs Hawkins the limb for real. Killer plucks the straw doll from the severed arm and crushes it, reversing the harm done to Kid and leaving Hawkins with no one left to absorb his injuries. In a final gamble Hawkins draws the upright Death card, summoning a giant straw monster that Killer beheads with Zanshu Claw. His next draw turns up the dreaded Tower card, and Killer cuts him down with Gin Sonic, ending the fight. The Tower is read as both the death of the old and the start of a new road.

A Wano Country Arc episode debuting Pomp, UK, and Bubblegum. Added scenes include Killer warning his crew not to interfere, Big Mom attacking Kid with Prometheus before Law intervenes, Hawkins giving Kid a headache, and the reveal of where Hawkins' final straw man was hidden. Hawkins' flashback to Kaidou offering the Worst Generation their lives in exchange for service is extended.
