A Mysterious Man Appears?! His Name Is Sogeking!

To a burst of his own theme music, Sogeking strikes a grand pose and names himself, though Sanji and Franky see through the mask at once and simply play along. Sanji reckons Usopp's stubborn pride keeps him from showing his face to the others even as he wants Robin saved. The three then hold a quick council and decide their first task is pinning down which car she is held in. Over on the Rocketman, Nami changes in full view of the flustered men, drawing Paulie's scolding, while Luffy fumbles with wedging meat into fresh black shorts. Zoro catches sight of a new device in Nami's grip, which she calls the Perfect Climate Tact, a piece Usopp reworked for her before he split from the crew.

On the Puffing Tom, Corgi alerts Lucci to a stowaway while the trio launches its scheme, cutting loose the final two cars after T Bone slices a jammed door apart with Chokkaku Senko: Bone Soir. Bursting into the next compartment, they scatter the government agents using Sanji's Frit Assorti, Sogeking's Gunpowder Star, and Franky's Strong Right. Gunfire glances harmlessly off Franky, who admits to being a cyborg, then yelps when Sogeking jabs his needle-tender back, a weak point left from operating on himself. Reaching car four, they meet Wanze, a manic cook who draws noodles out of his nostrils and refuses to let them pass unless they best his Ramen Kenpo. Sanji waves the others onward and stays behind to handle him.

A batch of techniques makes its first appearance here, including T Bone's Bone Soir, Sanji's Frites Assorties, Sogeking's Gunpowder Star, and Franky's Beans Left. The installment sits within the Water 7 Arc and adapts portions of chapters 368 and 369.
