Episode 406 of the One Piece anime is a Boss Luffy historical special set in an Edo-period Japan, where the crew enlists Franky to build a shrine for a once-a-century race while a rival company sabotages every contender.
In this alternate feudal setting, a portable-shrine race promises a fortune and a wish-granting treasure to its winner. Boss Luffy and his friends sign up as the Pinwheel Eatery team and recruit the master builder Franky to construct their entry. Standing against them is Thriller LTD, which methodically wrecks its competition, including teams modeled on the Flying Fish Riders and the Rolling Pirates. Along the way the group fishes a memory-blank Brook out of a river, only for him to recall that he once belonged to Thriller LTD before being cast into the water. The crew arrives at the workshop to find their shrine smashed.
Usopp spreads word of the race and introduces Mao, a new hire at the eatery. Chopper lists the contenders, and the Thriller Company crew, Hogback, Absalom, Perona, Kumashi, and Cindry, taunts the group before Franky vows to out-build them. That night Perona's negative hollows demoralize the Flying Fish Riders until Duval destroys their own shrine, with Robin watching from afar. After Usopp reels Brook in, the skeleton settles in among the villagers. The rivals then turn invisible with Absalom's power to wreck the Rolling Express shrine, and Luffy, Usopp, and Brook fail to stop it. Finding Mao under zombie attack and Franky beaten, Brook recovers his past and walks away from the group.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
