To Annihilate the Crew! Legendary Assassins Attack!

The Yeti Cool Brothers call Caesar to report that Nami, Zoro, and Brook are dead and ask to be picked up. Back at the facility, Monet passes the killings along to Caesar and notes that Law had met the crew on two earlier occasions. Caesar levels a gun at Law and demands to know if he lured the Straw Hats here. Law replies that their arrival was unknown to him right up until the moment they bumped into him at the entrance, pointing out that any exposure would ruin him too. A flashback returns to Law's first arrival, when he requested only the run of the island, mutual silence on personal matters, and absolute secrecy, even from Caesar's patron, Joker.

Reassured for the moment, Caesar tells Law that calling the children back would help further and doubts a man who flattered the government into Warlord status would make trouble. Holding up a sweet, he lays out the drugged candy, and Law remarks that the cruelty brings someone else to mind. As Law leaves, a blast rocks one of the labs. Reading it as an attack, Chopper frets the roof could cave onto the children. Outside, Luffy senses two enormous beast-like figures near Nami and Chopper. Briefly hopeful for rescue, Brownbeard understands the assault must come from the hired killers he describes as nameless guns-for-hire called Rock and Scotch.

Scotch surfaces behind Nami and Chopper with his weapon fixed on Brownbeard, named on Caesar's kill list. He plays back a recording of Caesar dismissing Brownbeard as a worthless fool, gutting the man's faith before gunning him down in flames. Luffy storms back enraged, but the yetis blink away before his flying kick connects, and Chopper reports that Nami is gone, the single body ordered taken alive because it carries Vegapunk's laser. Slipping out the rear, Law cuts apart a guard who warns him about the Marines. Among its additions, the anime inserts a moment of Smoker and Tashigi crossing paths with Caesar's underlings and stages the abduction onscreen, where the manga kept it off panel.
