Luffy Dies from Exposure?! The Spine-chilling Snow Woman Monet!

Monet seals Luffy inside ten layers of snow huts, boasting they cannot be shattered easily, then wraps him in her freezing wings to sap his strength. As drowsiness drags Luffy toward sleep, she coos for him to relax and slip under. He fights off the cold and a Jet Spear smashes the floor, dropping him through a hole toward the garbage chute below. Monet bids him farewell, certain that only flight could free him from the depths now.

Outside the Biscuits Room, Chopper in Monster Point holds back the candy-crazed children, refusing to strike them even as they beat him with pipes. When his Rumble Ball wears off he reverts and is nearly trampled, only for Nami and the rest of the crew to arrive. Robin's giant hands stall the kids, who tear free and corner Mocha, while Monet blocks the exit and pressures the girl to share the candy. In the SAD room, a bloodied Law uses Shambles to reclaim his heart, but Vergo seizes it and crushes it, then pounds Law with hardened fists. Law's Counter Shock barely fazes him. As Law slumps, Smoker steps in, and the two Vice Admirals square off.

Adapting Chapter 683, the episode carries a rating around 6.2 and debuts Momonosuke. The anime spares Chopper the trampling shown in the manga, and inserts new scenes of Vergo entering the SAD room to begin his assault on Law and of Caesar opening the secret room. The duel between Monet and Luffy is extended, as is the sequence of Vergo squeezing Law's captured heart.
