In the 74th One Piece episode, with the dueling giants of Little Garden subdued, Baroque Works makes its move. Mr. 3 starts coating Zoro, Nami, Vivi, and Brogy in dripping wax to slowly petrify them as a freed Luffy races to reach them.
Mr. 5 and his partner first batter Luffy, who remains pinned beneath rock, then haul Vivi off to the giants' battleground, where Mr. 3 has further bound Brogy in wax. The schemer shapes a wide, cake-like base, seats Vivi, Nami, and Zoro on it, and tops it with a revolving ring of candles that drips wax over the captives to gradually turn them into figures.
Mr. 3 then boasts to Brogy that he orchestrated the giants' lengthy duel, and the furious warrior tears through his bonds, only for Mr. 5's blasts to knock him out before he fully escapes, letting Mr. 3 rebind him. Elsewhere, Karoo digs Luffy free from beneath the boulder, and the trio of Karoo, Luffy, and Usopp reaches the duel site just as a desperate Zoro starts trying to cut off his own legs.
Baroque Works seizes Zoro, Nami, Vivi, and Brogy and begins the wax-statue torture. Mr. 3 admits he engineered the giants' century-long fight, and Brogy briefly breaks loose before Mr. 5 puts him down again with explosions.
Karoo frees Luffy from the rubble, and the rescue party reaches the duel grounds as Zoro resorts to slicing at his own legs to break out of the hardening wax.
