Ruler of Night - Master Nekomamushi Emerges

Seventeen days before the present, Duke Inuarashi trades blow for blow with Jack while the Musketeers hold the line against the Beasts Pirates. A sudden Eruption Rain briefly tips the contest toward the minks, yet the pirates shake it off. When the clock reaches six in the evening, Inuarashi and his troops withdraw and Nekomamushi leads the Guardians into the fray, striking Jack hard enough to force the Disaster back into his human shape before the two leaders collide.

Inuarashi first tries reason, lowering his blade and offering Jack free run of the island to hunt for Raizo, but Jack swings his trunk and refuses anything short of finding the samurai. Catching the trunk barehanded, the Duke commits to combat and orders the Musketeers forward. He scales Jack's trunk to drive an Electro-charged sword into the pirate's skull, toppling him into a building, though Jack rises unfazed. In the present, Luffy shrugs off the danger and vows to beat Jack himself. Back in the past, Shishilian alone wipes out the Gifters Grip Trio, and Zunesha's downpour scatters the pirates before they recover. At sunset the cry from the Whale Forest signals the shift; Inuarashi pulls back and Nekomamushi storms in, flipping Jack by the trunk and reverting him to human form. The Heart Pirates arrive to assist, with Bepo insisting on defending his homeland as Nekomamushi and Jack begin their clash.

Trio the Grip, Nekomamushi, and Keith debut here. The anime lengthens the standoff between Inuarashi and Jack, showing both sides ready to resume fighting before the negotiation and Wanda's furious reaction after Jack's first strike. The crew's running commentary on the duel is new footage, and the timing of Luffy's vow shifts to the early part of the fight rather than its conclusion. The Gifters Grip Trio are introduced only to be dispatched by Shishilian moments later.
