The battle outside Sweet City ends with Luffy overpowered and dragged off, Kingbaum slowly cut apart by Amande, and Sanji surrendering his freedom inside the throne room in exchange for his crew's safety.
Carving through endless ranks of Chess Soldiers, Luffy fends off the Snakeneck duo Mascarpone and Joscarpone with kicks to their throats, repeating that he will not leave the place where he gave his word to his cook. Nami backs him with another barrage of lightning, but before she can tap the storm clouds again, Galette coats her in a sticky, sparkling substance and hauls her down off Kingbaum onto her knees. Amande next strides up the homie's frame, draws her famed sword Shirauo, and lowers it into him with cruel patience, ignoring his cry for a quick death and insisting that an enemy deserves a slow, painful one.
Across in the mirror realm, the pair of Chopper and Carrot trade blows with Brulee alongside Diesel, Randolph, and the Noble Croc. They hold the advantage until Brulee's scythe accidentally severs their chains, after which she conjures three reflection copies of each, and those duplicates overwhelm the originals. Far off, Sanji walks the corridor to the throne room where Big Mom sits and pledges to wed Pudding without a struggle so long as his friends go free. She agrees, valuing the ceremony over vengeance on the Straw Hats, and Sanji is flooded with relief.
When Luffy aims Elephant Gun at Opera, Mont-d'Or intercepts it with a hovering book that draws him into an illusion, so that he flails at phantom threats while no real attack lands, baffling Nami. The pirates then trade strikes on the blinded captain with both genuine and imagined blows, and Counter and Cadenza finish it by hammering him from either side with Haki-charged fists, felling him on the second hit. As the army celebrates, Amande pulls Lola's Vivre Card from Nami's dress, and the crowd presumes she murdered Lola even as she protests they are allies. Counter then tries to lift Luffy, finds him awake and clutching the grass, and only after repeated stomps to his spine knocks him out and tears him loose from where he swore he would await Sanji.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Several segments run longer in the anime, among them extra Chess Soldier takedowns, the Joscarpone and Mascarpone bout, and the addition of the Noble Croc and Diesel to the Mirro-World fight. Galette pinning Nami atop Kingbaum is original to the anime, and the moment of Nami's thundercloud line is moved. Luffy's time within the World of Books is drawn out, he endures Cream Punch twice rather than once, the entirety of Sanji's deal with Big Mom is shown, and Counter strikes him more often while dragging him away. The Bata Bata no Mi and Buku Buku no Mi both debut.
