Sulong - Carrot's Big Mystic Transformation

Inside the Mirro-World, Luffy keeps throwing himself at Katakuri, treating the savage bout as a way to forge his Haki even as the commander steadily holds the advantage. Out at sea the Sunny is hemmed in, Big Mom's ships trailing behind and Daifuku's vessels waiting dead ahead. Carrot meets the moment by tapping the full moon to enter Sulong, a feral surge of power that lets her cut loose against Daifuku and his crew.

Katakuri asks why Luffy came back only to die, and Luffy replies that he returned to win, though the commander evades every strike and pummels him with Muso Donuts arms as Luffy strains to read the attacks the way Rayleigh taught. Boxed in by the fleets of Daifuku and Bavarois, with Smoothie's group also closing, the crew learns Daifuku has Perospero's blessing to sink them, and he orders lifeless cannonballs because Big Mom's frenzy is destabilizing the homies. Recalling Pedro's promise that her moment would arrive, Carrot declares she will take on the fleet alone through the moon's power, assuring Jinbe that Pedro taught her to control Sulong. Gazing upward, she transforms, hair and fur lengthening as her eyes flush red. Daifuku's men recoil at the sight of the Sulong state, and the Straw Hats look on captivated. Carrot glides over the water onto Daifuku's deck, scatters his crew with powerful Electro, and tears off the ship's helm, leaving it adrift. When Daifuku summons his genie, she slips each swing, the strikes carving his own Tartes to pieces. Nami recognizes the ace Inuarashi had once described to them on Zou, the secret weapon of the minks, while Jinbe warns that Sulong can wear one of them to death within mere hours. Brook then sets out across the water to support her as Bavarois' fleet comes within range and opens fire on the Sunny.

Sulong itself debuts in this episode, along with Carrot's Moon Rabbit and Comet Rabbit and Daifuku's Majin Saidan. The broadcast inserts a brief flashback of Pedro before Carrot changes, a typically lecherous remark from Brook once she does, and Luffy straining to glimpse the future before Chikara Mochi lands. The installment belongs to the Whole Cake Island Arc and first aired on November 17, 2018.
