Sabo Enraged - The Tragedy of the Revolutionary Army Officer Kuma

Disguised as one of the extra guards called to Mary Geoise, Sabo passes the Celestial Dragon Gate and enters Pangaea Castle. Peeling away from the group, he scouts the rooms, using a modified Den Den Mushi to photograph the interior. A sentry who confronts him is dropped with Ryusoken and set back beside the door. Karasu kicks up a racket outside, which steers Sabo toward an exit, and after fooling two more guards into believing he plunged out a window, he descends from overhead to knock them out. He then caves in a wall and flees aboard a crow sent by Karasu, who scolds him for the recklessness.

In the Socializing Plaza, Mansherry mends a bruise on Shirahoshi, who gives her thanks. Mjosgard tells Neptune that he broke up the kidnapping to honor an old vow to Otohime, and he promises to keep the princess safe across the seven days of the council, letting Leo strike any World Noble who threatens her. Pell hurries in to tell Vivi he is sorry for having left her side, then reveals that her father, together with Riku Doldo III, is at that moment meeting with Admiral Fujitora. The wounded Charlos is carried through the gate, and as it opens, Bonney, who has taken the form of Sorbet's aged queen Conney, darts past unseen. Rosward, greeting his son atop the rented former Warlord Kuma, voices his disappointment with Mjosgard.

A recap traces the crew's history with Kuma: the Thriller Bark encounter where Zoro's offer to die spared the pirates, the laser-firing Pacifista models built in his image, the real Kuma scattering the Straw Hats at Sabaody, and the Marineford war where the hollowed-out PX-0 failed to know his old comrade Ivankov. It also shows how Kuma watched over the Thousand Sunny for two years as a hidden Revolutionary ally. In the present, Rosward torments Kuma for amusement until Sabo nearly charges in and is pulled underground by Morley and Karasu. Bonney sheds her disguise, weeps, and swears she will never forgive the government. Sabo's infiltration, the photos, and his witnessing of the abuse are anime additions.
