O-Tama Appears - Luffy vs. Kaidou's Army!

Immediately after striking the magistrate, Zoro faces the man's remaining subordinates. Wielding the seppuku blade together with a stolen sword, he fends them off, and once the borrowed blade snaps he reaches the platform and reclaims his three swords. Fully armed again, he looses a sweeping whirlwind strike that flattens his foes and levels the residence. His wanted poster then goes up around the city: Franky is startled by the report, Robin quietly alarmed, and Usopp so visibly shaken that a passing officer suspects a connection. Usopp denies knowing him and claims fear for his family, while Zoro drinks sake beneath a bridge before noticing his own poster.

On a beach, Luffy puzzles over how he got there until a komainu named Komachiyo comes crashing toward him and slams into the Sunny. A sword-wielding baboon charges out of the forest, and the two beasts begin brawling. A flashback recalls the whirlpool: Sanji carried Nami, Carrot, Chopper, and Brook to safety off Luffy's ballooned body, but the stowaway octopus held Luffy back and dragged him into the water. Two Beasts Pirates then ride up carrying the kidnapped O-Tama, intending to sell her and capture the beach intruder. When the first Waiter fires, Luffy dodges and knocks him out from a distance, and Supreme King Haki forces the baboon to submit. Tama escapes, and after offering kibi dango she tames the baboon, then reveals to Luffy that he has landed in the Kuri region of Wano.

Anime-original material extends Zoro's clash with the magistrate's men and his recovery of the swords, the demolition of the residence, and Franky, Robin, and Usopp reacting to the wanted poster. After Tama subdues Hihimaru, Luffy leaps onto the baboon's head and pets Komachiyo before asking whether he has reached Wano, and he later questions why Tama called him big brother. Unlike the manga, Komachiyo disarms Hihimaru, silhouettes of the young Kouzuki children appear earlier, and the beach fight is lengthened, including Hawkins speaking over a Smart Tanishi and the second Waiter firing several shots. Whereas the manga had Tama fell the second pirate herself, the anime has her blow only enrage him until Luffy sends him flying.
