Briefly it is Urashima who flings him out, though a quick rebound carries Luffy back inside, and the frustration of that drives the giant toward forbidden tactics. His Ear Splitter and his Eye Splitter both come into play far more freely here than the page ever allowed.

Word of the bout travels to Holed'em, who keeps his distance because brutalizing Tama holds all of his attention. In the circle, Luffy jeers that the champion has no path to victory. The taunt provokes another furious slap, met by a fist soaked in Haki that hurls Urashima back, and the swollen-handed Gigant Tsuppari of Gomu Gomu closes the match by sending him clear of the boundary. The adaptation lengthens the wrestling considerably, works in a beat where Luffy nearly tumbles out while straining to lift his foe, lets Urashima use his illegal strikes more often than print did, depicts his collision with the residence, and gives Bepo's sickness extended screen time.
