Episode 929 looks in across Wano as the scouting teams reunite to compare what they found, the Big Mom Pirates linger beneath the falls, and within Udon prison Luffy steps up when the cruel guard Daifugo torments old Hyo.
Inside a snow-packed cottage out in Ringo, far from the Flower Capital, Kanjuro rejoins Nami's party. He remembers that twenty years earlier the strongest yakuza had been Hyougoro, a man far kinder and more caring than the Kyoshiro who lorded over the banquet. The group shares what it learned: Robin came away with nothing useful, while Brook chanced upon a Poneglyph, though not the red one they are after. They agree to head back to the capital and relax at a bathhouse. Tucked away in Ebisu Town, Sanji's group reads of Komurasaki's death and Kid's jailbreak, which prompts Law to foresee Luffy igniting a revolt at Udon, while Sanji simply asks aloud about a bathhouse and gets tackled for it.
Stuck at the foot of the waterfall, the Big Mom Pirates cannot climb while King holds the summit. Since Perospero's Vivre Card proves their captain lived through the drop, they hunker down and await any word. Riding a crocodile toward Udon, Big Mom and Chopper's crew press on as Kiku bars Tama and Momonosuke from uttering the word sunacchi, judging it improper. Kiku then maps out Wano's layout, a land carved into six regions: Kuri in the far west, Udon just east of it, the desolate Kibi, the central Flower Capital, snowy Ringo, and the port region Hakumai, with Onigashima standing apart as its own island. Down in the mines, Luffy once more breaks stone and slips Hyo meal tickets before Alpacaman, a SMILE fruit user, grills him over Kid's escape and drenches him in vile spit.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
This entry was the last Japanese broadcast ahead of the show's break, triggered by the 2019 and 2020 coronavirus pandemic and the production halt it caused; the series returned about two months later, with that comeback episode dated June 28, 2020. The adaptation works in Kanjuro arriving at the hideout, three children playing with the Raid Suit canister belonging to Sanji, and silhouettes of the younger Big Mom and Kaidou as Perospero brings up their shared time in the Rocks Pirates, a remark handed to Mont-d'Or in the manga. Kiku's walk through the map likewise runs longer here than in print. The episode shuts as Daifugo beats Hyo for taking tickets from another inmate and Luffy moves in to confront him.
Luffy bonds with old man Hyo during his imprisonment in the Udon mines in Episode 929, "The Bond Between Prisoners - Luffy and Old Man Hyo!", where he secretly gives Hyo meal tickets.
Kanjuro recalls that twenty years earlier, Hyougoro was the strongest yakuza boss in Wano and was far kinder and more caring than the current boss, Kyoshiro.
Kiku maps out Wano Country as six regions: Kuri in the far west, Udon just east of it, the desolate Kibi, the central Flower Capital, snowy Ringo, and the port region Hakumai, with Onigashima standing apart as its own island.
Luffy secretly slips Hyo meal tickets while breaking stone in the mines, which draws suspicion from the SMILE-user guard Alpacaman over Kid's recent escape.
Robin's search turned up nothing useful, while Brook discovered a Poneglyph, though not the red one the crew is searching for.
