The whole island registers the council's arrival. In the recording, Vegapunk finishes brewing coffee with a new gadget, noting seven minutes remain before the broadcast truly starts and that no amount of stolen time could silence it now. The Elders reveal their forms before Luffy: Saturn a gyuki, Mars an itsumade, Warcury a fengxi, Nusjuro a bakotsu, and Ju Peter a sandworm.

Nusjuro shifts to hybrid form and gallops at blinding speed, slashing the Pacifista so fast the Marines only catch reports of a stampeding horse. Rather than cut, his strikes partly freeze the cyborgs, locking half of them in place and freeing the Marines to resume hunting Bonney. Mars takes flight and batters the Frontier Dome while Sanji frantically urges his crew to flee. Usopp answers that they understand but Zoro still fights Lucci, and that Brook and Lilith have rejoined them aboard the Sunny after Usopp halted it with a Pop Green.

Saturn, Warcury, and Ju Peter press Luffy, the worm diving underground. Lucci tries to lure Zoro off by pointing at the Elders' overwhelming Haki, but when Sanji's insult about him dragging out the fight reaches his ears, Zoro ends it with Three Sword Style: Kokoba Madara Gari, dropping Lucci. Ju Peter then swallows Luffy whole, only for Dorry and Brogy to arrive and decapitate the worm, freeing him.

Seven minutes remain until the broadcast. The Five Elders gather on Egghead and undergo their Zoan transformations: Saturn a gyuki ox-spider, Mars an itsumade reptilian bird, Warcury a fengxi four-tusked boar, Nusjuro a bakotsu skeletal horse, and Ju Peter a desert sandworm. Nusjuro, confirmed to wield Armament Haki, immobilizes most of the rogue Pacifista, and Doberman orders the Marines to prioritize Bonney.

Mars assaults the Frontier Dome, and Sanji warns the crew to flee the Labophase. Usopp's Pop Green stops the Sunny from sliding off the edge, letting Brook and Lilith rejoin. Zoro defeats Lucci, ending their long duel. Dorry and Brogy rescue Luffy by beheading Ju Peter's beast form.

The full double-page reveal of the Five Elders is the first such spread since Chapter 800, nearly nine years earlier. Dorry and Brogy saving Luffy from Ju Peter's jaws mirrors Dorry rescuing him from the Brontosaurus back in Chapter 116. The cover continues the Yamato Surrogate Pilgrimage serial, with Yamato wishing to travel Wano as Oden once did.
