With every Pacifista finally knocked out, the Marines renew their push to corner Luffy and Bonney. Nusjuro seethes that Vegapunk would hand a nation-wrecking weapon to a twelve-year-old, branding the act both reckless and disrespectful. Oimo and Kashii want to retreat to their vessel, but the Marines wheel toward the northeast shore to send it to the bottom. Franky overpowers Red King, while Bonney, having left Kuma in a giant's keeping, shrinks Pomsky into a child and punts him aside, which sickens Guillotine.

Up on the Labophase, Mars releases York, who walks him over to wherever the recording was filmed, and his beam reduces it to rubble, yet the airing rolls on. York explains that a true Stella would have stashed the broadcasting snail in some maddeningly awkward spot, and she warns him off flattening the lab: Building B houses weapons work and the power plant, Building C holds high-pressure cylinders, and wrecking either would take all of Punk Records with it. Mars catches a faint voice overhead and makes for the entrance, while Stussy and Kaku quietly exhale at going unseen. Stussy admits she stayed of her own will for a last task.

Edison tells Nami that Stussy must remain to drop the Frontier Dome the moment the Sunny breaks for open water, leaving the crew only the option of surviving the run. Unsure how to span the gap without the Vegaforce-01 hauling them, Edison resolves to test the jump himself by flying straight through the dome. Nusjuro shuts down the last of the Pacifista, and the Marines set about sinking the giants' vessel. Franky takes down Red King and Bonney takes down Pomsky, after which Nusjuro cuts through a giant and blocks Franky's group. Mars wrecks the filming room to no effect, learns from York that the scientist relies on a newly built Transmission Den Den Mushi, and locates it within Punk Records, smashing inside with a minute to spare only to register something gurgling close by.

Stussy commits to staying and shutting off the Frontier Dome so the crew can flee. Edison races ahead with a scheme to reach the sea, punching through the dome himself. Luffy fights on against Ju Peter and Warcury once Gear 5 expires, and Saturn reaches the Labophase close to where the Thousand Sunny waits.
