Weapons fail to sever either the arrow or the thorns, and even Oimo is stabbed trying to grab his grandson. At the brink, the terrified children sob, with Colon crying for his mother, until Ripley throws herself around him and is impaled rather than let him fall alone.

One after another the parents embrace their children and tumble over the edge together as Sommers cackles. Their fall ends not in death but on the back of a transformed Loki, with a Gear 5 Luffy riding atop him having scooped everyone up in passing. Loki insists he is a destroyer, not a rescuer, and orders the survivors off once he reaches the Sun World. As snow and thunder gather, Jarul senses the omen of the Sun God's arrival, and Loki erupts from the Underworld with Luffy and Ragnir on his head, immediately tearing into Killingham's MMAs.

Loki's beast form is revealed as a colossal dragon-like creature. The chapter's Japanese title is rendered almost entirely in hiragana, lending it a childlike tone that echoes an earlier chapter written from the Walrus School children's view; a same-day correction by the official staff account swapped one kanji for hiragana.
