Along Upper Yard's northwestern shore, Conis waits alongside Pagaya at the rendezvous point that Nami had picked out earlier, and the two decide to sound their dial boat's horn to frighten off anything hostile, all while tending the wounded Usopp and Sanji and quietly praying for the rest of the crew. Across the forest, the bodies of downed enforcers from God's Army and the Shandia litter the ground as the two sides go on clashing, the warriors driving toward the Giant Beanstalk while the defenders scramble to turn them back. Enel, savoring the chaos, feels sure his prediction for the survival game will bear out.

High on the beanstalk, a tangle rages among the snake, Wyper, Ohm, Zoro, and Gan Fall. Wyper lands a clean Burn Bazooka strike on the creature only to find it does nothing, though the impact rattles Luffy around inside it.
