Summary

Knocked senseless by King Kong Gun, Doflamingo plunges through the ground into the underground trade port. Onlookers watch the spent Luffy release Gear 4 and get flung by the escaping air, but Law uses Shambles to exchange him with a rock, dropping the unconscious hero safely as Viola, Rebecca, and Gatz look on in amazement. Below, the Warlord's broken sunglasses bounce away from his still body.

Key Events

The uncertain citizens demand that Gatz explain the outcome. Wounded and warned not to overexert himself, Gatz points out that the cage is dissolving just as Doflamingo's grip on them has. Zoro's group, the gladiators, and Franky's group give one final shove as the Birdcage finally fades, toppling the factory onto its side. Through tears and bouts of gibberish, Gatz at last announces that Lucy has won and Dressrosa is free of the Donquixote Pirates.

Notes

The whole island erupts in joyful weeping. Franky recalls the dwarves describing how lonely Kyros had been during his decade as a toy, unable to cry. Now restored, Kyros slips behind a piece of rubble and finally sheds tears of relief over the ten-year struggle to dethrone the Warlord. Though Dressrosa lies in ruins, its people are overjoyed. A hidden gag shows a citizen wearing a jacket reading "LUCY 39," a pun on "Lucy, thank you." Baby 5 had departed the crew beforehand to join Sai.
