Donning their raid suits, the Vinsmokes free the captured Straw Hats and haul everyone into Big Father. Katakuri and Perospero then pin the fortress down, and a recovered Big Mom starts battering it as the Tamatebako is hurled off the roof.
With the Emperor's scream still ringing out, Bege herds the alliance toward Big Father as Galette and Mont-d'Or resolve that neither he nor Caesar can survive this. Katakuri reclaims Brûlée and cuts down Bege's men with his jellybeans, and at the same moment Smoothie, Daifuku's genie, and Oven seize Nami, Carrot, and Chopper. Sanji waves his father back toward the fortress, prompting the rest of the Vinsmokes to switch into their fireproof raid suits and slip clean through Perospero's candy. Ichiji decks Perospero, Niji releases Chopper, Reiju strikes Smoothie, and Yonji slams the genie into the ground, while Sanji catches the plummeting Nami under Pudding's watchful gaze. Judge then commands his children into the castle.
Amid the turmoil Lu Feld eyes the unattended Tamatebako, but a fresh gust from the Emperor flings both him and the chest off the chateau roof. Once the alliance is sealed inside Big Father, Bege opens fire with its cannons, only for Perospero to guard his mother with candy and Katakuri to choke the barrels with mochi. Perospero then encases the limbs of the fortress in hardened candy, sealing everyone in a siege. Bege explains that the castle and he are a single being, so wrecking it would kill him and dump the allies into the enemy throng. He abruptly buckles, bleeding, as the revived Emperor begins pounding the structure and demanding he answer for his treachery.
Luffy's group and the Vinsmokes withdraw into Bege's fortress, and Brûlée is recovered by her relatives. The Vinsmokes' transformation into their raid suits is shown for the first time. Lu Feld's bid to snatch the Tamatebako collapses when the Emperor's scream blasts the chest clear of the chateau. Bege's cannon fire is neutralized by Katakuri's mochi and Perospero's candy, which also pins the castle motionless. The Emperor returns to her senses and launches her assault.
