Big Mom and Zeus close on the fleeing team, and she carves a slab off Kingbaum with Napoleon. When Nami asks the tree homie about Lady Tree, he resolves to survive and presses on. As Big Mom readies another strike, Nami conjures thunderclouds with her Clima-Tact, and Zeus, unable to resist, breaks away to devour them, throwing off the Emperor's aim. Zeus marvels at the taste and begs for more, but explains only Big Mom may ride him since she gave him part of her soul. Nami dangles an endless supply of clouds if he becomes her servant, leaving him torn.

Furious, Big Mom orders the Seducing Woods homies to close ranks, and Prometheus crashes down on Kingbaum, setting him and the forest ablaze. Back at the ruined chateau, Perospero and Daifuku gather ingredients while Brulee coordinates ten thousand soldiers through the Mirro-World. Mont-d'Or directs the tarte ships toward the southwest coast where the Thousand Sunny waits, and Katakuri lies in ambush aboard the ship itself. Elsewhere, Pudding overtakes the fleeing Bege and pleads with her sister Chiffon to help her stop their mother and spare Sanji and the Straw Hats.

Lady Tree is confirmed to be Kingbaum's fiancee, and he openly betrays Big Mom to return to her, only to be burned by Prometheus. Nami offers Zeus more black balls in exchange for his service. The Big Mom Pirates encircle the island and seas: Brulee, Perospero, Daifuku, and ten thousand troops wait inside the Mirro-World, tartes from several islands block the sea route, and Katakuri waits aboard the Sunny. Pudding catches up with Bege to ask for Chiffon's help.

The cover is a color spread announcing the sixth popularity poll, with Luffy and the top eleven non-crew characters riding the Azure Dragon while Doflamingo and Crocodile hover nearby. The chapter originally bore the title "Kingbaum" in its magazine run before being renamed for the collected volume. Two new Totto Land islands, Flavor Island and Liqueur Island, are referenced.
