Who Is That?

Gear 4 lets Luffy batter the Sweet Commander with a flurry of hits, one of which sends the man sailing. His deduction gets stated aloud: since a Logia body hardens under Armament Haki and his blow instead slid straight through, the enemy cannot be a Logia. The truly fearsome part of this fighter, Luffy argues, lies in foresight rather than in any mochi trick, and he swears his current form will not fall to it.

Katakuri, glaring yet quietly impressed, admits no rival has landed a hit on him in ages. He explains that a wielder whose mind is neither calm nor collected loses access to that foresight, and he begins to grasp how Cracker was overcome. Composure regained, he wraps Luffy in mochi, drives a fist dead-center into his chest, and blasts him back through wall after wall.

An elderly man calling himself Pound turns up at the sweets factory begging to see Chiffon, but the guards bar him under Pudding's standing instruction that no visitors come in. While the baking proceeds, Brulee informs Pudding that the crew's vessel should dock near one in the morning, and she scoffs that Luffy has no hope of downing Katakuri in time. Oven, arriving and puzzled that even Charlotte kin are shut out, catches sight of Pound amid the noise and moves to hurl him off the grounds despite his pleas. Concerning the husband count of Big Mom, this man Pound turns out to occupy the twenty-fifth place.

Sanji smiles and forecasts that Katakuri, a man who has never known defeat, is about to lose for the very first time. Out at sea, Nami and Jinbe find it strange that nobody gives chase, and Jinbe hopes Aladine and the rest of the Sun Pirates got away clean. The mystery resolves when Praline is shown crooning to every territorial sea slug until each one goes dormant, opening the path out of Totto Land. Big Mom, mid-craving, is reported to be tearing into Nuts Island. The cover advances the Grand Fleet side story with its Ideo arc entry.
