Having put Cacao Island behind them, Sanji learns from Carrot about Pedro's fatal gamble and remembers his own first encounter with the mink. His regret prompts Carrot to try comforting him, only for her to dissolve into tears, leaving Sanji to console her while Chopper patches up Luffy's wounds. In an alley back on the island, Pudding sits clutching a film reel that holds the memory she stripped away, replaying everything she shared with the cook before quietly breaking down.

The Sun Pirates and Germa 66 keep the Big Mom Pirates occupied, and once word spreads that the Straw Hats have gotten clear, Germa prepares to pull back. Inside the Mirro-World, Katakuri rouses to find Brulee dressing his injuries. A childhood flashback reveals that bullies once scarred her face in revenge for a beating he gave them, driving him to retaliate and to start hiding his mouth ever after. Hearing that Luffy escaped, Katakuri looks satisfied as Big Mom storms into Cacao Island to face the Sun Pirates and the Vinsmokes.

This is the final chapter of the Whole Cake Island Arc. The Sunny group confirms its escape from Totto Land, and Sanji accepts that Pedro is truly gone. Pudding's last wish, a kiss, is revealed, along with her decision to delete it from Sanji's mind using her fruit. Daifuku, Oven, Perospero, and Brulee appear as children, and Gally makes his first canonical showing. The chapter ends with Sanji cooking a meal aboard the Sunny, mirrored by Zeff feeding unruly pirates at the Baratie because he refuses to turn away anyone who is hungry.
