Personality

Gomago carries the standard mercenary outlook. With his life on the line he will resort to anything, even fake tears, to come out alive. For all that, he is clear-eyed about himself and quietly owns up to just how pathetic his circumstances can be.

History

During the Monster Association Arc, Narinki calls the squad in to retrieve his son Waganma, dangling a reward lavish enough to keep their grandchildren from ever working. The mercenaries breach the association's base but are overwhelmed and driven back, and G5 hands them over to Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro. Royal Ripper moves to butcher them until Do-S stops his blade with her whip and proposes turning them into her love slaves, a plan Gyoro Gyoro approves, dropping Gomago and the others under her control. Ordered to kill any heroes they meet, they later clash with Atomic Samurai's three disciples until Sweet Mask intervenes; the disciples double back to subdue the squad, unknowingly sparing them from Sweet Mask's slaughter, and once Do-S falls her mind control shatters and Gomago's free will returns.

Freed and grateful, he joins the disciples in cutting down monsters, until Evil Natural Water floors the whole group. Iaian, Pig God, and Tatsumaki's evacuation efforts pull the wounded to safety, and Gomago survives to be evacuated from the ruined Z-City. Later, in the Supreme Hero Arc, he works park security at Narinki Park with his old squadmates and is beaten by Pesky Clown during the clown's rampage. In combat he leans on wrestling-style close-quarters skill and once wielded an advanced Organization battle suit, supplied through Narinki, powerful enough to press top A-Class heroes, along with a baton that broke against the disciples. His name plays on goma-ae, a sesame-based Japanese dish.
