Charlotte Galette

Galette is a fair-skinned woman of average build whose fuchsia hair falls to her shoulders and curls at the tips, with the bangs sweeping over the right half of her face. Thick lashes frame her yellow eyes. Her wardrobe pairs a short red-violet dress with a long feathered coat in dark purple and magenta gloves, and two horns shaped like arrowheads jut from the top of her head.

Family means a great deal to Galette, who pleaded for her mother to spare her brother Moscato and was horrified at the sight of a beaten Cracker. She tends to look down on outsiders, caught off guard when Nami called down a huge bolt of lightning, and she takes treachery hard, seething when Praline turned against the crew and jeered at her siblings. Her composure breaks entirely in mortal danger: as the collapsing castle sent her plummeting, she wept with relief the moment her brother Katakuri caught her.

As Minister of Butter and a crew officer, Galette commands Margarine Island and the lower ranks of the Big Mom Pirates, and she is strong enough to be sent against Luffy and Nami; alongside Smoothie and Daifuku she helped pin down Sanji, Reiju, and a weakened Luffy. Her resolve held firm through Big Mom's Conqueror's Haki and screaming. Her power comes from the Bata Bata no Mi, classed as Paramecia, a fruit that conjures and steers butter, which she uses to glue enemies in place, as she did to trap Nami.

Her arc opens during Big Mom's croquembouche rampage, when she and her siblings begged in vain for Moscato's life before their mother drained his lifespan. Days later she, Opera, and Mont-d'Or gathered around the defeated Cracker, realizing Luffy was responsible, then marched out with the army to fight him and bound Nami in butter. She took part in the tea party and wedding chaos, weathered Big Mom's scream, received mochi earplugs from Katakuri, and was nearly killed when the Tamatebako toppled the chateau, saved by Katakuri before Streusen's cake broke the fall. Later she sailed on the Queen Mama Chanter during the rebuffed attempts to enter Wano.
