Yoo Jinhee

Jinhee looks to be roughly Jinwoo's age, a young woman of slim build with large gray eyes and short black hair styled in a bob. Her usual look is understated, a plain coat paired with gold earrings.

Family clearly matters most to Jinhee, who returned to Korea the moment she heard her father was terminally ill so she could look after him. Her bond with him runs especially deep; learning that his illness had vanished against all odds, she was so overcome with relief that she wept.

Not long after an S-Rank Gate abruptly opened in Tokyo, word reached Jinhee of a diagnosis for her father, Eternal Slumber, and she hurried home to help look after him. The disease eventually dragged Myung-Han into a coma, and one late night Jinhee came to the hospital to look in on him. As she walked toward his room, she passed a young man around her own age in the corridor and recognized him almost at once as the Sung Jinwoo. Puzzled by why he would be there, she carried on toward her father's bedside, only to find that he had somehow woken of his own accord, a discovery that moved her to tears. The novel adds that once Myunghan pulled through and grasped that Jinwoo was his healer, he toyed for a moment with the thought of giving his daughter's hand to the young man as thanks, then set the notion aside on learning Jinwoo already had someone he cared for.
