Dragon Ball Z Inbetweening
Takahashi worked as an inbetweener on Dragon Ball Z, performing the technical frame-filling work essential to smooth character animation. He also contributed inbetween animation to the theatrical film Lord Slug, an outing that sent the Z-Fighters to battle a tyrannical slugman in space. His inbetweening work appeared in the special Dragon Ball Z: Bardock, The Father of Goku, one of the franchise's most popular side stories exploring the Saiyan warrior's final moments before Earth's destruction.
Animation Technician
As an inbetweener, Takahashi was part of the meticulous production pipeline that transformed key animators' dynamic poses into fluid, continuous motion. His work also extended to Tekken: The Motion Picture OVA, demonstrating technical competence across multiple animation styles and action sequences.
