Dragon Ball Background Work
Itō worked as a background artist on Dragon Ball Z, providing environmental artwork throughout the series. He additionally contributed background art to Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest, the 1990 film featuring Goku's clash with a warrior from beyond Earth. His technical work on both the series and film helped establish the visual scope and scale of Dragon Ball Z's world.
Prolific Background Art Career
Itō's background art credits span decades and include work on major anime series such as Bleach, Naruto and Naruto Shippūden, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
