Appearance

Over a pink polo Kashima wears a magenta business suit, adds a floral tie, and crowns it with a realistic reindeer mask. Lift that mask and he reveals sunken dark eyes, sharp brows, lilac hair combed straight back with darker purple streaks, and an X stitched over his mouth to signal his devotion to Slur. Once Taro Sakamoto seized him and concealed bombs tore apart much of his frame, Hana Sakamoto rebuilt him into something ridiculous, a walking fridge kitted with Wi-Fi, taiyaki and candy machines, tank treads where his legs were, and claw-machine grabbers for arms.

Personality

Courteous and business-minded, Kashima carries polite manners into his killing and treats his underlings kindly, gathering them at karaoke rooms or fast-food counters and letting them eat on the clock so long as the job still gets done. Cutting-edge technology enthralls him, and after turning cyborg he sneers at plain guns and knives while taking clear pride in his upgraded shell. Behind the etiquette sits a careful planner, one who wired a whole lab to blow as a fail-safe. His sense of right is twisted rather than missing: he cries over slain subordinates, gives a crushed roach a merciful end, and paints himself as a misread agent of justice striking down so-called bad people, all while carrying quirks like a distaste for Christmas and for anyone who talks back.

Abilities

Nearly seventy percent of Kashima's body has been surgically remade, which lets him trade hits with Order members and even keep pace with Sakamoto for a stretch. His real edge is that hardware: an arm hiding hooks and a machine gun, a laser tucked in his mouth, a mass of blades in one forearm, a rifle set into his ribcage, limbs that break into cable-linked segments, and a rear compartment holding wiring and bombs. Speed lets him open Shishiba's chest with a lazy slash, and his medical knowledge runs deep. Nerve by nerve he rejoined the arm and fingers Gaku had lost, coaxing them back to full use with almost no surgical gear, though even he could not restore the man's ear.
