Hiyori grumbles that Hachi should have expected the heat in a suit, then abruptly catches the scent of a Shinigami and spots a distortion warping the air beside her.
At the Kurosaki Clinic, Yuki jolts awake on Ichigo's bed confessing he had not been listening, though Ichigo points out that no one had spoken. Orihime arrives with a tray of leftover bakery bread, and a running joke unfolds as Uryu Ishida and Yasutora Sado insist Ichigo secretly loves her baking.
