The StormBringer

Bazz-B hangs pinned to a pillar by Hitsugaya's ice as nearby Shinigami cheer the idea of beating the Wandenreich without any Bankai. On another rooftop, BG9 hurls Marechiyo against a wall and demands, for the third time, where Sui-Feng has gone. Marechiyo genuinely has no answer, so the machine spears a building and raises a skewered Mareyo into view, threatening the three other relatives it has detected within thirty meters unless the lieutenant talks.

Enraged, Marechiyo smashes Gegetsuburi against BG9's helm, only to be pierced through both shoulders and granted fifteen seconds to speak. He spits defiance instead. As BG9 raises a Reishi minigun and fires, its barrel snaps off in Sui-Feng's grip; she scatters the caught rounds and remarks that a Quincy leaning on machinery rather than a bow is more advanced than expected.

Nothing registered on BG9's sensors, and Sui-Feng credits the Onmitsukido's concealment before revealing the Kido swirling at her shoulders. When the doll recalls her Shunko once being unfinished, she answers that she completed it after her duel with Yoruichi and has trained since to push it further. Sheathing herself in an endless wind-vortex of Reiatsu she names Mukyu Shunko, she thanks BG9, since losing her Bankai spurred the breakthrough, then drives a fist into him that hurls him away. The watching Shinigami sense her victory, yet Bazz-B melts free with one hand as BG9's eye kindles inside the settling dust.

BG9 tortures Mareyo to force Sui-Feng's location out of Marechiyo. Sui-Feng intervenes, unveils her perfected wind-form Shunko, Mukyu Shunko, and blasts BG9 back. Both Bazz-B and BG9 rise again despite their apparent defeats.
