Makoto Furukawa

In "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," produced by the studio Ufotable, Furukawa provides the Japanese voice of Goto, one of the Demon Slayer Corps' Kakushi who handle recovery and cleanup work in the wake of battles. The part is a supporting one set against the leading roles that established Furukawa's reputation across a busy anime career, and it places him within one of the most prominent franchises of his generation.

Furukawa was previously affiliated with Space Craft Entertainment before turning freelance in September 2018. His best-known performances include Saitama in "One-Punch Man," Miyuki Shirogane in "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War," Banri Tada in "Golden Time," Taiju Oki in "Dr. Stone," Rider of Red, also called Achilles, in "Fate/Apocrypha," Shaddiq Zenelli in "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," and Tabito Karasu in "Blue Lock." He has also voiced two separate incarnations of Sherlock Holmes, appearing in both "Moriarty the Patriot" and "The Tale of the Outcasts." Alongside acting, Furukawa pursues music: he joined the Toy's Factory label in December 2018 and made his solo singing debut in July 2018 under Lantis with "miserable masquerade," produced by Satoru Kuwabara.
