Bandages the Mummy

Bandages the Mummy is part of Fortuneteller Baba's team of warriors that challengers must defeat in order to receive her divination services for free. He fights in a specialized arena positioned over a vat of corrosive liquid, adding an environmental hazard to an already dangerous opponent.

When Goku and his friends visit Baba to locate a Dragon Ball, they must battle through her five fighters. Bandages the Mummy faces off against Yamcha in one of these matches. The mummy is extremely durable thanks to his undead nature, and his wrappings can be used to ensnare opponents. He gives Yamcha a difficult fight, absorbing punishment that would stop most normal fighters.

However, Yamcha ultimately prevails, defeating Bandages with determination and clever fighting. The mummy later reappears in Dragon Ball Z during the Majin Buu Saga when all of Earth's inhabitants, including the dead, are affected by the crisis. He is among the many minor characters who contribute energy to Goku's Spirit Bomb in the final battle against Kid Buu.
