Frost is Universe 6's counterpart to Frieza, a member of the same race who initially presents himself as a benevolent peacekeeper and hero. Beneath this carefully constructed public image lies a scheming warlord who secretly orchestrates the very conflicts he pretends to resolve, using the wars he creates as opportunities to buy devastated territories at reduced prices.

The False Hero

When Frost was introduced during the Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 tournament organized by Champa and Beerus, he appeared to be everything Frieza was not: polite, heroic, and genuinely concerned about the welfare of others. He claimed to be a galactic peacekeeper who intervened in conflicts across Universe 6 and ran a charitable foundation to rebuild war-torn worlds. This presentation initially fooled everyone, including the Universe 7 team.

Frost fought Goku in the tournament and seemingly defeated him after a hard-fought match. However, Jaco, the Galactic Patrolman, noticed something suspicious and exposed Frost's secret weapon: a retractable poison needle hidden in his wrist. Frost had been using this needle to weaken his opponents with a toxin that sapped their strength, and he had used it against both Goku and Piccolo during their matches.

When his cheating was exposed, so was his true nature. Champa, disgusted by the deception, revealed that Frost had been starting wars across Universe 6 for profit, purchasing decimated worlds cheaply and reselling them. His heroic reputation was entirely fabricated. Vegeta, furious at the deception, dismantled Frost with minimal effort in their subsequent match, demonstrating the gap between the fraud and a genuine fighter.

Tournament of Power and Fate

Despite his exposure as a criminal, Frost was recruited for the Tournament of Power because Universe 6 needed every capable fighter it could field. During the tournament, Frost attempted to form an alliance with Frieza, hoping that their shared racial heritage and disposition would make them natural partners. Frieza played along, seemingly agreeing to cooperate against the other universes.

This alliance was a trap. Frieza had been manipulating Frost from the start, and when the moment was right, he betrayed Frost with a blast that knocked him off the tournament stage. Before Frost could recover, Zeno erased him for attempting to attack from outside the ring, a violation of the tournament rules. This double humiliation cemented Frost as a character defined by his own duplicity being turned against him.

Frost was later restored along with all the erased universes when Android 17 used the Super Dragon Balls to wish them back into existence. His fate after this restoration remains unaddressed. As a character, Frost serves as an interesting mirror to Frieza, showing what the tyrant might look like if he relied on cunning and deception rather than overwhelming force. Where Frieza rules through fear, Frost prefers manipulation, though both are ultimately undone by their inability to trust anyone.
