The Son Who Inherited an Empire of Vengeance

Magenta inherited his father's ambitions along with his hatred for Goku and his associates. After Commander Red's death at the hands of Staff Officer Black during the original Dragon Ball series, the remnants of the Red Ribbon Army went underground and reformed as Red Pharmaceuticals, a legitimate-seeming corporation. Magenta positioned himself as its president, using the company's resources and public credibility to quietly rebuild the Army's military capabilities.

His plan centered on recruiting Dr. Hedo, the genius grandson of Dr. Gero, and manipulating him into creating powerful androids. By feeding Hedo false intelligence about Capsule Corporation being run by dangerous aliens, Magenta convinced the naive scientist that building weapons to attack the company was a heroic endeavor. This manipulation resulted in the creation of Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, powerful androids designed to look and act like superheroes.

When the Gamma androids turned against him after witnessing the Army's true nature, Magenta resorted to his final contingency: activating Cell Max, an incomplete recreation of the original Cell. This decision revealed the depth of his desperation and recklessness. Cell Max, lacking the original Cell's intelligence and self-control, went on a rampage that threatened everyone, including Magenta himself. He was killed during the chaos, ending the Red Ribbon Army's lineage for good. His legacy is one of inherited hatred leading to self-destruction, a cautionary echo of his father's own downfall decades earlier.
