Biography and Story Role

Misokatsun was one of three bio-fighters engineered by Dr. Kochin to guard Dr. Wheelo's fortress. Together with Kishime and Ebifurya, he was sent to battle Master Roshi in an arena test, where the trio easily defeated the old martial artist.

Misokatsun later fought Goku directly. His rubbery body composition allowed him to absorb punches and kicks without taking damage, and he could even deflect ki attacks such as the Kamehameha. However, once Goku activated the Kaio-ken technique, Misokatsun was defeated immediately. Like his fellow bio-warriors, he lacked any independent sentience and acted only under orders.

His name references misokatsu, a Nagoya specialty dish of deep-fried breaded pork served with miso-based sauce. His elastic, damage-absorbing body is similar to Buyon from the original Dragon Ball series and, later, Botamo from Dragon Ball Super.
