Immortal Justice

With Future Zamasu standing beside Goku Black, the heroes face an alliance of two gods. Goku engages Future Zamasu while Future Trunks, powered up to Super Saiyan 2, clashes with Goku Black. The fights are brutal and chaotic, with both villains sharing a coordinated fighting style that constantly puts the Saiyans on the back foot. Future Trunks manages to stab Future Zamasu with his sword, only to watch in horror as the wound closes instantly. Future Zamasu reveals that he possesses a truly immortal body, one that regenerates from any damage.

The discovery changes everything. Even a direct Final Flash from Future Trunks leaves Future Zamasu completely unharmed. With one enemy who grows stronger from every fight and another who simply cannot be killed, the Saiyans have no path to victory. Goku Black and Future Zamasu pin Goku and Future Trunks together and fire a massive combined Kamehameha. Vegeta, despite being severely wounded, rises as a Super Saiyan Blue and fires a God Final Flash to intercept the killing blow, then collapses.

In the chaos, Future Yajirobe drags Goku and Future Trunks to safety while Future Mai rescues Vegeta under cover of tear gas fired by the resistance soldiers. Future Mai loads the unconscious Saiyans into the Time Machine and sends them back to the present. In the current timeline, Gowasu watches footage of Goku fighting Hit on GodTube. When Zamasu sees Goku wielding godly ki, his obsession deepens. Learning about the Super Dragon Balls, he travels to Zuno's planet and demands answers.

The Immortality Problem

Future Zamasu's immortality is the episode's central revelation, and it reframes the entire conflict. Raw power means nothing against someone who regenerates from any attack. The heroes can match or even surpass Goku Black in brief exchanges, but they can never eliminate his partner. This forces the audience to consider that the solution to this saga will not come through brute force alone. Vegeta's sacrifice to buy the others time is quietly powerful, proving that his pride has matured into something closer to duty.

Convergence of Timelines

The episode ties together the present and future timelines through parallel developments. While the heroes retreat in defeat, the present-timeline Zamasu begins his own investigation, visiting Zuno to learn about the Super Dragon Balls. Gowasu's innocent GodTube viewing becomes the catalyst for Zamasu's fixation on Goku. The scene establishes that the villains' plan was not born from a single event but from a cascade of curiosity, resentment, and opportunity spread across multiple timelines.
