Properties

The Cerealian Dragon Balls are a distinctive set of wish-granting orbs located on Planet Cereal. Unlike every other known set of Dragon Balls, which traditionally number seven, Planet Cereal's set contains only two spheres. They are also significantly smaller than Earth's Dragon Balls, roughly the size of a ping-pong ball, and feature red stars on their surface.

Gathering both balls and speaking a specific password summons the eternal dragon Toronbo. These Dragon Balls are currently tied to Monaito, the last surviving Namekian on Cereal. They possess several unique properties that set them apart from other sets: they do not turn to stone after a wish is granted, allowing immediate reuse if both can be located again. They are also the only known Dragon Balls besides the Super Dragon Balls that can substantially increase a person's fighting strength.

The Cost of Wishes

Some wishes granted by Toronbo come with a significant price. When Granolah wished to become the strongest warrior in the universe, the cost was the sacrifice of much of his remaining natural lifespan. This trade-off makes the Cerealian Dragon Balls unique among all known sets, as other eternal dragons do not typically demand such costs from their users.

Key Wishes

Decades before the main story, Monaito gathered the balls to help Bardock, who refused the offer and instead wished for his sons to thrive. During the Granolah the Survivor Saga, Granolah used them to become the universe's strongest fighter. Later, the Heeter leader Elec stole the Dragon Radar from Earth, gathered the balls, and wished for his brother Gas to surpass Granolah in power. After the Heeters' defeat, Monaito announced he would seal the Dragon Balls away to prevent further misuse.
