Mr. Popo takes Bulma to the desolate Yunzabit Heights to investigate a strange structure that may be connected to Kami's forgotten past. When they discover the object responds to the Namekian language, Bulma realizes it is a fully functional spaceship, and a successful test flight to Jupiter confirms their ticket to Planet Namek.
At Wukong Hospital, Krillin asks whether there truly is a spaceship, and Mr. Popo replies that there probably is one, though he has never confirmed it. Goku explains that Mr. Popo has served every Guardian of Earth for generations. Still uncertain, Mr. Popo asks someone to accompany him to investigate. After some convincing, Bulma climbs onto his magic carpet. The carpet vanishes and reappears in a freezing canyon. Mr. Popo announces they have arrived at Yunzabit Heights, a barren region at the very edge of the world.
They discover a large metallic object resting on spiky legs. Bulma confirms the material is metal, though the design is unlike anything on Earth. Mr. Popo shares a story Kami told him roughly a hundred years ago. As a child, Kami lived at Yunzabit Heights with no memory of his origins. He found only a letter from his parents promising to come later, but they never arrived. He waited decades before finally leaving his strange house behind.
Kami recalled that the house had four round legs like an insect, and the door could only be opened with a spoken word. Mr. Popo reveals the word is "Piccolo." When Bulma speaks it, a disc-shaped platform descends from the structure. They step aboard, repeat the word, and rise into a futuristic interior with a large seat behind a control panel. Bulma recalls that Kami was a Namekian and deduces his parents sent him to Earth to escape catastrophe on their homeworld.
Bulma tries pressing buttons on the control panel, but nothing responds. The entire ship is voice-activated. Mr. Popo reveals he knows the Namekian language, explaining that "Piccolo" means "different world." Bulma connects this to King Piccolo's title, "the Great Demon King of a different world." She instructs Mr. Popo to command the ship to fly, and he speaks in Namekian. The ship launches instantly and reaches Jupiter in moments. The two celebrate, and Mr. Popo sheds a tear at the thought of Kami being revived.
