Vegeta vs. Reacoom

Stepping Into the Ring

With Guldo eliminated, Recoome eagerly steps forward to take on Vegeta next. He casually offers to let Vegeta bring Krillin and Gohan into the fight as well, though Jeice objects that those two were supposed to be for him and Burter. Recoome performs a flamboyant fighting pose, apparently part of his preparation ritual.

Vegeta powers up, and the surge of energy shocks everyone present. Jeice checks his scouter and exclaims that Vegeta's power level has blown past 20,000 and is still climbing. The reading is far beyond what any of them expected from the Saiyan prince.

Vegeta's All-Out Assault

Catching Recoome off guard during the moment of surprise, Vegeta charges in and lands a devastating punch directly to Recoome's face. The impact shatters the scouter off Recoome's head and sends him toppling backward. Before Recoome can even hit the ground, Vegeta phases behind him and smashes him downward from above. He follows up by driving both knees into Recoome's chest, then grabs the stunned fighter by the leg and hurls him into a rock formation with enough force to obliterate it.

Not letting up, Vegeta unleashes his Final Crash, a massive energy attack aimed directly at Recoome's position. Krillin and Gohan dive out of the blast radius as the enormous wave of ki tears across the battlefield. The explosion is immense. Krillin, watching from safety, believes the fight must be over.

An Unbreakable Wall

The dust settles, and what emerges shatters every ounce of confidence on Vegeta's side. Recoome is not only alive but appears almost entirely unharmed. His battle armor has been destroyed, but his body shows no meaningful damage. He grins and announces that it is time to get serious. Burter complains about the amount of dust Vegeta kicked up. Without further warning, Recoome darts forward and delivers a crushing Recoome Kick that sends the Saiyan prince hurtling backward across the landscape. The overwhelming gap between them is now painfully obvious.
