Nail challenges Frieza far from Guru's home, only to discover the staggering gap between their power levels. On the other battlefield, Captain Ginyu stuns Goku by stabbing himself through the chest and activating his Body Change technique, stealing Goku's body in a single terrifying instant.
Frieza expresses amusement that anyone on Namek would dare oppose him and warns Nail that refusing to reveal the Dragon Ball password will cost him dearly. Nail observes that Guru is nearing death and proposes they fight elsewhere, reasoning that Frieza still needs the elder alive. Frieza agrees, confident the battle will be over in moments. Nail leads him a considerable distance from the house before Frieza orders him to stop.
Once they land, Nail powers up and his battle power registers at 42,000. Frieza is mildly impressed and jokes that he almost wants Nail as a subordinate, then casually reveals his own power level: 530,000. To add insult, Frieza declares he will fight using only his left arm. Enraged, Nail charges and lands a strike directly against Frieza's neck. The blow has no effect whatsoever. While Nail's hand still presses against his throat, Frieza seizes his forearm and tears it clean off. Nail writhes in agony before regenerating the limb, which surprises Frieza but does not concern him; he notes that the regeneration cost Nail a portion of his remaining power.
Back on the other battlefield, Goku is puzzled that Captain Ginyu keeps laughing despite having admitted he is outclassed. Jeice, however, suddenly perks up, recognizing what his captain is planning. Ginyu hands his scouter to Jeice and, without warning, drives his fist through his own chest. As Goku stares in shock, Ginyu opens his mouth and fires the Body Change beam. The technique connects before Goku can react, and in an instant the two warriors swap bodies. Goku now occupies Ginyu's battered purple form, while Ginyu grins from inside the powerful Saiyan body he just claimed.
