Goku or Ginyu?!

The Impostor Exposed

Captain Ginyu, now occupying Goku's body, lands at Frieza's spaceship alongside Jeice. They are both surprised to find the seven Dragon Balls already unearthed and wonder who discovered their hiding spot. Krillin steps out from behind a rock, sees what he believes is Goku, and asks if Jeice switched sides after the fight. Ginyu plays along, asking whether Krillin dug up the Dragon Balls and whether the wish has been made. When Krillin questions why Goku is wearing a scouter, Gohan shouts a warning: the person standing before them is not his father.

Ginyu Strikes

Ginyu punches Krillin in the face, confirming Gohan's suspicion. He reveals his true identity and announces his intention to test his new body's capabilities. Krillin is stunned and refuses to believe what he is hearing. Meanwhile, the real Goku flies toward the ship trapped in Ginyu's battered form, frustrated that the unfamiliar body feels sluggish and unresponsive. He then realizes that Ginyu must be experiencing the same problem from the opposite side: Goku's body will not cooperate with a mind that does not understand its techniques.

The Battle Begins

Ginyu attacks Krillin and Gohan simultaneously, but his strikes lack the devastating force Goku's body should be capable of producing. Jeice spots someone approaching and alerts the captain. When Goku lands in Ginyu's body, he confirms the swap for everyone and explains the situation. Ginyu is surprised Goku managed to fly at all given the injuries he inherited.

Vegeta Enters the Fray

Goku points out that Ginyu cannot use the Kaio-ken and begins to power up. Ginyu and Jeice check his level on the scouter, but it reads only 23,000, far below what Ginyu expected from his old body. Krillin declares they can win this fight. Ginyu orders Jeice to join the battle, but before Jeice can move, Vegeta appears behind him and announces that he will be the opponent instead.
