Suiting Up for War

Inside Frieza's spaceship, Vegeta hands Gohan and Krillin their own sets of Battle Armor. Krillin notes that Frieza must be extraordinarily powerful if even Vegeta needs allies, and Gohan admits to feeling afraid. The two struggle with the unfamiliar equipment until Vegeta explains that the material stretches to fit any body type, pointing out that his own suit survived his Great Ape transformation back on Earth. Krillin is pleasantly surprised by how light the armor feels and asks how long Goku will need to recover. Vegeta estimates between forty and fifty minutes, so Krillin decides to fly to Guru's house alone to learn the password required to activate the Namekian Dragon Balls.

Nail's Last Stand

Meanwhile, Frieza continues to toy with Nail. Fighting with only one arm, the tyrant has inflicted severe damage on Namek's strongest warrior. Frieza demands the Dragon Ball password, but Nail responds with a Mystic Flasher blast. The attack does nothing. Frieza vanishes and reappears directly in front of Nail, dropping him with a blow to the face.

The Deception Revealed

Nail smiles from the ground and tells Frieza that it no longer matters. By now, Dende should have already reached Gohan and Krillin with the password. Frieza's expression shifts from amusement to fury as the full scope of the deception sinks in. The child he passed in the sky and dismissed as insignificant was carrying the one piece of information he needed. Screaming that only he deserves the power of immortality, Frieza abandons Nail and rockets toward his spaceship at maximum speed. Along the way, he notices that every scouter reading for the Ginyu Force has vanished.

Dende and Krillin Meet

At Guru's home, the elder laments that he did not share the password with the Earthlings sooner. High above the Namekian landscape, Dende and Krillin spot each other mid-flight. Both are relieved, and for a brief moment, fortune appears to be on their side.
