Outclassed

After taking an elbow to the face, Goku is sent tumbling through the air. Frieza pursues, but Goku rights himself and pulls away, needing a moment to catch his breath. Frieza then charges energy at his fingertips and swings his hand downward, unleashing a razor-thin beam that carves through the mountain behind Goku and through the planet's surface itself. Frieza reminds him that he destroyed Planet Vegeta with the same ease and could do the same to Namek at will.

Goku reluctantly admits to himself that he cannot win at his current level. Gohan, Piccolo, and Krillin are shaken after witnessing the attack. Piccolo tells Krillin bluntly that Goku has no plan and that Frieza is far stronger than anticipated. Frieza taunts Goku, saying he would never destroy the planet mid-fight because it would be anticlimactic and would not satisfy his anger.

All or Nothing

On King Kai's planet, Tien is in disbelief that Goku is losing while using Kaio-ken times ten. King Kai reveals that Frieza is still at only fifty percent and confesses this is exactly why he warned Goku to stay away.

Goku realizes his only option is to push Kaio-ken to twenty times its base level, even though his body might not survive. Frieza tells him not to start regretting his choices now. As Goku powers up, Frieza's confidence wavers when he senses Goku's energy climbing even higher.

The Kamehameha

With Kaio-ken times twenty fully engaged, Goku rockets forward and lands a devastating punch on Frieza's jaw. As the tyrant recoils, Goku unleashes a Kaio-ken Kamehameha at point-blank range. The beam engulfs Frieza completely. But when the light fades, Frieza is still standing. He blocked the entire blast with one hand, and while the effort visibly strained him, the attack did essentially nothing. Goku stares in shock, realizing his absolute best was not enough.
